Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about Magic Trader Signals
What is Magic Trader Signals?
Magic Trader Signals is a free binary option signals terminal that provides real-time UP/DOWN predictions using technical analysis (RSI, MACD, Bollinger Bands, Momentum, Trend, Volatility) combined with execution filters (spread/volatility/conflict checks) to help reduce low-quality setups. Works with all major binary options brokers including IQ Option, Pocket Option, Quotex, Deriv, and others.
How does Magic Trader Signals work?
Magic Trader Signals analyzes real-time market data from Massive.com API using multiple technical indicators (RSI, MACD, Bollinger Bands, Momentum, Trend, Volatility) to generate UP/DOWN/WAIT signals. The system applies execution filters to block trades when conditions are unfavorable (high spread, high volatility, mixed signals, etc.). Signals are updated in real-time during forex market hours.
What timeframes are available?
Magic Trader Signals supports 16 timeframes: Turbo (5S, 10S, 15S, 30S), Short (1M, 2M, 3M, 5M), Medium (10M, 15M, 30M, 45M), and Long (1H, 2H, 4H, 1D). Turbo timeframes use quote-based evaluation with strict filters, while longer timeframes use candle-based analysis.
What currency pairs are supported?
Magic Trader Signals supports 13 popular currency pairs: EUR/USD, GBP/USD, USD/JPY, AUD/USD, USD/CHF, EUR/GBP, USD/CAD, NZD/USD, EUR/JPY, GBP/JPY, AUD/JPY, XAU/USD (Gold), and XAG/USD (Silver). All signals work with any binary options broker.
What are Strong Signals?
Strong Signals are high-quality signals that meet strict criteria: Signal Strength ≥ 75, Direction Confidence ≥ 70, and Trade Status must be OK (not blocked). These signals are displayed in the 'Strong Signals' section at the top. The system shows up to 4 strongest signals, sorted by weighted score.
What does Signal Strength mean?
Signal Strength (0-100) measures how strong the directional bias is based on technical indicators. Higher strength means stronger directional momentum. Strength ≥ 75 is considered strong. However, strength alone doesn't guarantee a safe trade - always check Trade Status and Direction Confidence.
What does Direction Confidence mean?
Direction Confidence (0-100%) measures how strongly the technical indicators agree on the UP/DOWN direction. Higher confidence means more indicators are aligned. Confidence ≥ 70 is required for Strong Signals, and ≥ 80 is considered 'Highly Recommended'. However, confidence does not mean a trade is safe - always check Trade Status (OK/NO/WAIT) and block reasons.
What does NO TRADE mean?
NO TRADE means the system is blocking execution due to an unfavorable condition. Common block reasons include: High spread, High volatility, Mixed/conflicting signals, Missing live quote, Poor recent performance, Against higher timeframe trend, or Turbo spread too high. The system shows a primary block reason so you know exactly why the trade is blocked.
What is Trade Status (OK/NO/WAIT)?
Trade Status indicates whether you should execute the signal: OK (green) = Safe to trade, NO (red) = Blocked, do not trade (shows block reason), WAIT (amber) = Uncertain direction, do not trade. Only trade when status is OK.
How do I use the signals?
- Select a timeframe from the 16 available options.
- Check the Strong Signals section for high-quality opportunities.
- Click on a signal to view details in the Featured Signal Panel.
- Only trade when Trade Status is OK (green).
- For UP signals, place a CALL/HIGHER trade. For DOWN signals, place a PUT/LOWER trade.
- Use Load history to verify recent performance before trading.
- Prefer signals with higher Recent Win Rate and Aligned status.
What is the Featured Signal Panel?
The Featured Signal Panel shows detailed information about a selected signal, including: Current price and quote, Signal direction (UP/DOWN/WAIT), Signal Strength and Direction Confidence, Trade Status (OK/NO/WAIT) with block reasons, Technical indicators (RSI, MACD histogram), Recommendation level, Recent Win Rate, and History performance. Click any signal from the list to view its details.
What is History & Performance?
History & Performance shows past signal outcomes for the selected pair and timeframe. You can load history to see recent wins/losses, win rate percentage, and performance trends. History uses market data evaluation: candles for 1M+ timeframes and quotes for turbo (5S–30S). Outcomes are computed using mid prices and do not include broker-specific execution, fees, or slippage. Metrics are estimates and do not guarantee future results.
What is Recent Win Rate?
Recent Win Rate shows the percentage of winning signals in recent history for the selected pair and timeframe. Higher win rate (e.g., 70%+) indicates better recent performance. However, past performance does not guarantee future results. Use this as one factor among many when deciding whether to trade.
What does Aligned mean?
Aligned means the signal direction matches the trend in higher timeframes, indicating stronger confirmation. For example, if the 5M signal is UP and the 15M and 1H timeframes also show UP bias, the signal is aligned. Aligned signals are generally more reliable than non-aligned signals.
How does Multi-timeframe support work?
Magic Trader Signals shows strong signal indicators (green dots) on timeframe buttons when other timeframes have strong signals. If your current timeframe has no strong signals, the system suggests other timeframes that do. This helps you discover trading opportunities across different expiry times. Click any timeframe button to switch instantly.
When are signals available?
Signals update in real-time during forex market hours (approximately Sunday 5:00 PM to Friday 5:00 PM New York time). When markets are closed (weekends), the terminal shows the last available data with a market status indicator. Signals automatically resume when markets reopen.
How often are signals updated?
Signals are updated in real-time as new market data arrives from Massive.com API. The terminal automatically refreshes signals periodically. You can also manually refresh by clicking the refresh button. The 'Last update' time in the header shows when data was last updated.
What technical indicators are used?
Magic Trader Signals uses multiple technical indicators: RSI (14) for overbought/oversold conditions, MACD for trend momentum, Bollinger Bands for volatility, Momentum for price change velocity, Trend Analysis with SMA/EMA crossovers, and Volatility measurements. The Featured Signal Panel shows RSI and MACD histogram values.
Is Magic Trader Signals free?
Yes, Magic Trader Signals is completely free to use. No subscription, registration, payment, or account creation is required. All 16 timeframes, all 13 currency pairs, Strong Signals, Featured Signal Panel, History & Performance, and all features are available at no cost.
Which timeframe should I use?
Beginners: Start with Long timeframes (1H, 2H, 4H, 1D) for more stable and reliable signals. Intermediate: Use Medium timeframes (10M, 15M, 30M, 45M) for balanced trading. Advanced: Short timeframes (1M, 2M, 3M, 5M) are faster but noisier. Expert Only: Turbo timeframes (5S, 10S, 15S, 30S) are extremely sensitive to spread and latency - use with extreme caution. Magic Trader Signals uses quote-based evaluation and strict filters for turbo signals.
What brokers are supported?
Magic Trader Signals works with all major binary options brokers including IQ Option, Pocket Option, Quotex, Deriv, Olymp Trade, ExpertOption, and many others. The signals are broker-agnostic - you can use them with any broker that supports binary options trading. No need to switch brokers.
Are signals guaranteed to win?
No. No trading signals are guaranteed to win. Binary options trading carries significant risk, and 70-90% of traders experience losses. Magic Trader Signals provides signals for educational purposes only. Always use proper risk management, never trade with money you cannot afford to lose, and understand that past performance does not guarantee future results.
How much should I risk per trade?
We recommend risking only 1-2% of your trading account per trade, and never more than 5%. This is a fundamental risk management principle that helps protect your capital. For example, if you have a $1000 account, risk $10-20 per trade maximum. Never risk money you cannot afford to lose. Magic Trader Signals provides signals, but proper risk management is your responsibility.
What is spread and why does it matter?
Spread is the difference between the bid (sell) and ask (buy) price of a currency pair. High spread means you pay more to enter a trade, reducing potential profit. Magic Trader Signals blocks trades when spread is too high because it significantly reduces the probability of a profitable outcome. The system shows 'High spread' as a block reason when spread exceeds safe thresholds. Lower spread generally means better trading conditions.
Can I use Magic Trader Signals on mobile?
Yes, Magic Trader Signals is fully responsive and works perfectly on mobile devices, tablets, and desktops. No app download is required - simply open the website in your mobile browser. The interface automatically adapts to your screen size, and all features including signals, timeframes, and the Featured Signal Panel are accessible on mobile devices.
Do I need to download anything?
No, Magic Trader Signals is completely web-based and requires no downloads or installations. Simply visit the website in your browser and start using the signals immediately. The platform works on any device with a modern web browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge). No registration, account creation, or software installation is needed.
What happens if a signal changes after I place a trade?
Signal changes after you place a trade do not affect your existing trade. Each signal is a snapshot of market conditions at that moment. Once you place a trade with your broker, it is independent of any subsequent signal changes. The signal may change from UP to DOWN or vice versa, but your trade outcome depends only on the price movement during the expiry time you selected, not on signal updates.
What is the difference between CALL and PUT?
CALL (also called HIGHER) means you predict the price will go UP by expiry time. PUT (also called LOWER) means you predict the price will go DOWN by expiry time. When Magic Trader Signals shows an UP signal, place a CALL/HIGHER trade. When it shows a DOWN signal, place a PUT/LOWER trade. Never trade when the signal shows WAIT or when Trade Status is NO.
How accurate are the signals?
Magic Trader Signals does not guarantee accuracy. Past performance does not guarantee future results. Signal accuracy varies based on market conditions, timeframe, and currency pair. The system uses advanced technical analysis and execution filters to improve signal quality, but binary options trading always carries significant risk. 70-90% of traders experience losses. Use signals as one tool among many, always practice proper risk management, and never trade with money you cannot afford to lose.
